If you would like to re-employ a former employee (alumnialumnus), you can do so via by using the alumni file.
Please open the alumni file of for the employee to be re-employedinstated, click onand choose select in the following dialog dialogue whether the former employee should keep the be assigned old contract data or start with new contract contractual data.
The date set in the Valid From field corresponds for Valid from is equivalent to the re-employment date of for the alumni former employee.

This setting makes senseis useful, for example, for returning seasonal workers who are re-employed under the same conditions as before.

Re-employment with former contract contractual data
The employee starts with the previously set working time model, basic leave, company, contract type, department and supervisor. The contract start date superior that were previously configured. The start date for the contract changes to the date selected in the under Valid From fieldfrom.
Re-employment with new

This setting makes sense, for example, in the case of re-employment, where former employees are is useful if a former employee is to be re-employed after several years in a new department or with after several years or has to work fewer hours (part-time contract).

Re-employment with new contract contractual data
When If new contractual data are required for a re-employing with new contract data, the employment, a new company can now be selected, if a change is requirednecessary. Contract type, basic leave and weekly working hours as well as the working time model remain empty and have to be re-enteredconfigured.
In both cases, a new contract is added to the existing contract(s) to show that the employee is entering into a new contract with the company. This can be seen in the employee personnel file under Contracts.
